The truth about UFOs: Why we need to change our minds

Is the truth about aliens for everyone?

In recent years there has been and daily talk of unidentified aerial vehicles in the skies of the United States of America, from the Tic-Tac of the Nimitz Encounter, up to the radar videos of the Peralta, Kid and Finn destroyers up to the UFOs pyramids of Uss Omaha, the message is being conveyed that these unidentified objects due to their unauthorized raids in the skies around the world are a threat. Today I want to tell one of the very few events in which perhaps they have been, because let’s face it, in hundreds of cases in which land fighters have intercepted unknown vehicles nothing has happened 9 times out of 10. These objects have limited themselves to observe our behavior without committing no hostile act towards us.

How not to mention the case of the Peruvian pilot Oscar Santa Maria Huertas, who had an encounter with an unknown vehicle on 11 April 1980, when he was stationed at the La Loya air base in Arequipa who claimed to have fired 64 shots from 30 mm many of which would have hit the target but that these showed no damage and that not only did not return to fire but even ignored the Santa Maria fighter.

So why pass off UFOs as a threat when so far they haven’t been in most cases? On a cognitive level we cannot pretend that our logic is theirs because we are talking about something completely new for mankind, we cannot even try to predict or anticipate the thought of beings that are completely unknown to us and only the simple concept of boundary. it may be foreign to them.

Having said that, we return as anticipated to one of the very few unfriendly encounters with UFOs.

In March 1967 the radar operators of the Key West Naval Air Force Station in Florida found themselves intercepting a communication from Cuban air defense colleagues in which they reported an unknown flying object entering Cuban airspace from north-east to approx. 10000 m.

The defense immediately took off two MIG 21 fighters to intercept it. The commander of one of the two Cuban fighters declared that he was approaching a shiny metallic spheroid object with no visible signs of identification, or wings. After a failed radio contact attempt, the Cuban headquarters announced to arm the missiles and shoot down the object. The pilot did what ordered and said he was ready to fire, a few seconds later the support MIG 21 shouted to the ground radar control that the jet  of the commander in front of him had exploded, it was gone! No smoke, no flames, it had been disintegrated.

Cuban radar reported that the UFO rapidly accelerated to 30,000m and in the latest report it was heading south south east towards South America. Within hours, Cuban radar personnel were ordered to send all tapes, radar tracks and incident data to the NSA and to report the loss of the fighter as due to “malfunction of the onboard equipment.”

We understand that even in this incident we were the first to shoot, probably the unidentified object realized that it was in “lock” mode and simply defended itself.

Interpreting a territorial invasion a priori as a hostile act has cost us very dear, in my opinion the rules of engagement of our vehicles with theirs should be completely revolutionized, perhaps and I say perhaps simply showing curiosity could save the lives of terrestrial pilots who would inevitably succumb in case of air conflict.

It is an advice.
